I just finished two paintings with a wonderful new model, Lauren. I just can't seem to get away from painting a single woman in a bar. Lauren is under 21 so we got kicked out of a couple of bars before we finally found Pogacha's outdoor dining that seated customers under 21. Getting thrown out of places for taking photos has become routine for me. I've been kicked out Starbucks, Daphnes and Nordstroms just to name a few! My good spirited model seemed to take it all in stride and just kept posing as we moved from place to place.
Those are beautiful, Patty! The paintings reflect such a serenity that I would have never imagined you were on the run.
